Missionary Funding

OMS International is an interdenominational, faith-based mission, supported by gifts and prayers of churches, family and friends of missionaries. While waiting on God’s timing to bring in the needed funds, long-term applicants receive help and training from regional directors and headquarters staff to meet their funding goals. Short-term applicants receive training from the recruitment staff.

To Apply with OMS International

We treat all applicants uniquely, counselling and encouraging you to discover the plans God has prepared for you.

The application process varies by length of service but always begins with filling out the “Getting to Know You” form. After we receive this, an OMS representative with contact you for more information related to your area of interest and the time you want to serve. If you choose to continue the application process, OMS will help guide you through the forms and determine the right fit for you.

The application consists of reference forms, personal testimony and a questionnaire. After receiving the completed application, headquarters and field personnel prayerfully evaluate the information and – if approved – forward it to the OMS president for final approval. There is no obligation to serve until an approved candidate begins funding. Long-term applicants are required to attend a two day orientation session; other training sessions will follow after acceptance.
