Haiti Relief Effort

Dear Friends of OMS,

OMS International-Canada has been in Haiti for many years. In light of the terrible disaster in Haiti, we need people’s help to support our relief efforts there.

Right now, we have a long term field team in Haiti who know the people, the geography, and the language. They are working with the UN and Samaritans Purse to provide supplies, food, and water to the Haitian people.

We have started the process with the Government of Canada to be listed as a charity eligible for the government matching fund program and have confirmed by telephone that relief funds donated to this office will be eligible for the Government of Canada matching funds program.

We will need people to give to emergency fund # 70517 now. Please put emergency fund # 70517 on the check memo line (donations are tax receiptable).
