COVID-19 Pandemic Relief
Imagine living in a place where there is no running water to wash your hands to help stem the spread of COVID-19?
And what if poverty was already an issue before the global lockdown occurred, but now you have no wages for food? Or what if a natural disaster struck in the midst of this pandemic and you lost everything? We don’t need to explain how this is an unprecedented time in our history. We are all living it. COVID-19 has affected 210 nations worldwide, with more than 4 million testing positive and nearly 3000,000 deaths to May 13 and counting. Even as we deal with a new normal and our own personal challenges, we want to offer hope in the midst of despair. Here are a few of the appeals for us to impact the world through word and deed. There are dozens of examples of urgent needs, including prisoners in Colombia, hunger in Ecuador, flood victims in the DRC, students and families in South Asia, etc. We sadly hear, “We may die of hunger before the coronavirus.” In these uncertain times, we have unprecedented opportunities to save lives, give hope, and transform hearts for Jesus ... would you prayerfully consider giving to our Relief Fund to help those affected by COVID-19 and difficult life situations? |
