English Ministry - Thailand
The Asia Pacific region has a vision to transform lives in dynamic communities. As an Embarker, you'll serve in your area of focus while being part of localized summer ministry experiences. You'll also be poured into by a team of missionaries as you learn more about your gifts and passions. Our hope for this experience is that you will grow in your relationship with God, expand your skill set, be more prepared to disciple people from other cultures, and perhaps discern a long-term call to missions and ministry.
During this Embark opportunity, you will be in Thailand working with OMS missionaries to help provide English trainings (ESL/TESOL) to support outreach efforts, varying from village churches to larger inner-city programs. This role is flexible based on applicants' strengths and passions.

Responsibilities:
- Serve alongside OMS missionaries in Thailand and to help provide English training (ESL/TESOL)
- Learn about Thai culture and observe and experience various ministries in Thailand.
Skills:
- Basic Level of ESL/TESOL experience is preferred
- High School Diploma required, some college preferred
- Willingness to find common ground with people despite language barriers and cultural differences
- Comfortable sharing and talking with new acquaintances
- Adaptability
- Able to relax and have fun in varied environments
- Desire to see Gospel transformation
Other Information:
- -You will be serving from 1-3 months (timing is flexible).
- -Cost will be approx $5,700 USD (includes travel expenses).
- -This is a volunteer internship that requires raising financial support through ministry partners.
During your time with Embark you will serve with One Mission Society, receive mentorship from experienced missionaries, work alongside a team of other like-minded OMS interns, expand and hone your skill set, and grow in your ministry approach to evangelism, discipleship and communicating your testimony.
