John and Tricia Fraser have served with One Mission Society in Hungary since 2002. John has served as the pastor of the OMS-related church in Budapest and as ECC coordinator. He also teaches classes at the theological school of the Wesleyan Alliance in Budapest and is working to develop a ministry of apologetics. John works with Hungarian pastors and church planters in mentoring and theological training. He is also helping Hungarian workers develop a strategy for multiplying house churches in Hungary.
Tricia homeschools their children, Hannah, Matthew, and Jonathan, and facilitates their extracurricular activities with Hungarian friends. She also teaches at a homeschool co-op in Budapest. After returning to Hungary, she plans to resume language school.
John earned a bachelor of arts degree from Aldersgate College in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1991; a master of divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, in 1996; and a master of theology in world missions and evangelism from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2001. John pastored the Free Methodist Church in Melfort, Saskatchewan, Canada, from 1991–1992 and was an assistant pastor in the Kalamazoo, Michigan, Free Methodist Church from 1996–2000.
Tricia received a bachelor of arts from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York, in 1992 and a master of divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1996. She served as office manager for the Right to Life organization in Kalamazoo, Michigan, from 1997–2000.
