MediaCommunication - Mexico
The Latin America region has a vision to transform lives in dynamic communities. As an Embarker, you'll serve in your area of focus while being part of localized summer ministry experiences. You'll also be poured into by a team of missionaries as you learn more about your gifts and passions. Our hope for the internship experience is that you will grow in your relationship with God, expand your skill set, be more prepared to disciple people from other cultures, and perhaps discern a long-term call to missions and ministry.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the process of story-sharing through interviews with OMS Mexico national and missionary staff, capturing photos and/or videos to engage readers/viewers.
- Primarily based in Mexico City but be ready to travel with visiting ministry teams to capture video/photos of ministry opportunities
- Edit and create daily/weekly recap videos.
- Post content to social media outlets.
- Work on any other relevant media projects.
- Help develop informational videos, photos, and articles for recruitment and partnership development, for various missionaries and projects around the field.
Skills:
- Medium to High level technical expertise in photo/video capturing and editing.
- High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
- Comfortable engaging with students during activities.
- Able to upload videos to Facebook/Instagram.
- Able to get along well with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Same basic Spanish is preferred but not required.
Other Information:
- You will be serving from early-June to early-August.
- This is a volunteer internship that requires raising financial support through ministry partners
During your time with Embark you will serve with One Mission Society, build relationships with youth and young adults, receive mentorship from experienced missionaries, work alongside a team of other like-minded OMS interns, expand and hone your skill set, and grow in your ministry approach to evangelism, discipleship and communicating your testimony.
