Special Education Trainer
Helping Hands takes a holistic approach to expressing God’s love to those living with a disability and their families. We're looking for people with a passion to use their practical skills alongside being prepared to share the Gospel, reaching out to communities in Word and deed. As a special education trainer, you'll serve individuals with disabilities and equip families, volunteers, and churches to practically meet needs in love.

Responsibilities
- Make home visits to those living with a disability including assessments, one-one work with individuals and helping advise parents on at-home learning activities.
- Training volunteers in educational activities to utilize during in-home visits
- Visit partner churches in the center and north of the country to offer training and support as they seek to establish the Helping Hands Ministry there.
Requirements
- Education and certification in special education
- Two years experience as a special education teacher preferred
- Willingness to learn Portuguese
- Ability to adapt to a different culture
- Ability to apply knowledge and skills to different culture and living environment
- Valid driving license
