March 29, 2023 is Founders Day
at One Mission Society

When a project goes on for a long time, say 122 years, it might be good to look back at why it was started in the first place and how it is going now. In March, 1901, Charles and Lettie Cowman, with three others, started a “project” to reach Japan and beyond, for Christ. That was the start of One Mission Society,( OMS).

Before Charles Cowman died he challenged his wife, “Go on with the unfinished task.” One hundred and twenty-two years and the task of reaching the world is still not finished.

What will it take? More workers, more funds, more prayer. What does God want you to do to get it done? Your generous support for OMS has gotten us this far. Your continued support will enable us to pursue the vision of Charles and Lettie Cowman in the many countries around the world where OMS missionaries are spreading the Good News today.

Spending of funds raised by One Mission Society is confined to programs approved by the organization. Each restricted contribution designated toward such an approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by One Mission Society, the remaining contributions will be used by One Mission Society where the need is greatest.
